I was a little rusty since i had not been fishing much lately. But I eventually got back into White Seabass shape. I caught this one on a dropper loop with a LIVE SARDINE. This is the first White Seabass I have caught with a Sardine. I guess I have been spoiled over the years with the luxury of fishing with LIVE SQUID.

We had good grade on the fish today. I would say most were around 20 pounds. We did have a couple bigger and a few smaller. But most around 20.

Simi Valley Ford guys score some White Seabass. I had a great time hanging out with this group today. We all had fun and there was no stress. Of course, we gambled and it paid off.

Capt John told us the fish were hanging just out of sight. He told us to drop our baits just deep enough to where we couldn't see them. I grabbed my dropper-loop setup and dropped down a 4/0 hook with 3 chovies pinned on. After a few minutes I got a seabass. I dropped back down, and 10 mins later I landed another seabass.

The yellow-bite slowed a little so Capt Brian decided to look around a bit. Before the crew put the fish in the hold I got some more pictures. I HAD to get another shot of Chris and his beast!
