SFR would like to thank Capt. Brian and the rest of the Ultra crew for a great trip. These guys really worked hard, and did a great job! They stayed up late and made bait, which in turn made the difference. Thanks again guys!

This is the Jackpot angler for this trip. He was lucky enough to be the first to hook a WSB. A big thanks goes out to the Apollo crew. Blue in the galley cooked up a killer sweet and sour chicken lunch with the sauce being homemade. Capt Forrest is only 23 but yet seems like he has been ont he water alll his life. Maybe thats because he has 15 years of experience working the boats. Jesse and AJ held down the deck. Zach handled the driving in and out. The apollo has half staterooms and half bunks with some of the bunks being doubles. Ever had sushi quality rockfish? Probably not because you don't have your fish chilled at all during the day. The apollo has the RSW holds and they will be providing sushi quality tuna all year long. If you have an opportuniy to jump on their LR trips(pretty much their only open party trips) with only 10 guys or a friends charter, do it.

We lost a lot of fish in the kelp, but we did manage 2 nice seabass. Here is Pat with his first ever white seabass. Way to go, Pat!!! The harbor seals were pretty thick, and killed the bite in a hurry. We found the fish again, but the seals moved in, and shut down the bite. SFR would like to thank Capt Steve and John for another great trip on the Island Tak!
